Gary Leibowitz is a seasoned global business and strategy leader, advisor and coach, with capital markets, investment banking and private equity career foundations. Mr. Leibowitz has extensive experience driving business growth and transformation agendas at corporate and divisional levels. Recognized as a CPG leader in the US, Europe and emerging markets, driving rigorous, insight-driven strategic decision-making, alignment, org transformation, rapid scaling and institutional investor support. Led strategy, portfolio, route-to-market and M&A engagements for a range of McKinsey’s large, mid-size and PE clients. For over a decade, he co-architected and built SABMiller/MillerCoors, a $100 billion global beverage group consisting of both leading brands and a portfolio of small, dynamic US craft brands. Built influence and trust across management, distributors, directors and shareholders through economic cycles, executive and board change, JVs and major M&A across continents. Currently Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer at Unilever. Board director or observer for over 20 years at private equity investee companies, corporate subsidiaries, and the UK Investor Relations Society. Entrepreneurial executive coach/mentor within Unilever and in connection with the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
